The headline reads: "Pedestrian Is Struck, Then Dragged 17 Miles." Here's the lead: "A pedestrian was hit by an S.U.V. in Queens, then struck by a van and dragged into Brooklyn. He is dead."
That list bit seemed a little unnecessary, no?
